CHELTENHAM SUNDAY MARKET

Sunday markets have a tendency to be rained out during the winter, but Cheltenham Sunday Market is one that will never be cancelled due to bad weather. This market is undercover so it is dry when it rains, and in the shade on sunny days. The Cheltenham Sunday Market is located in the lower level of a roofed car park behind the Cheltenham shops, off Railway Road. Parking isn’t a problem either – there is free parking above on levels 1 and 2.

Visit the market. Great plant specials, Rare Vinyl records, artwork, various collectables and knitted items. You can get a bargain, then reflect on your purchases over a cup of coffee at one of the many scrumptious cafes in Charman Rd.

The Cheltenham Sunday Market which has been going strong since 1994 opens at 8:00 in the morning and closes at 1:00 in the afternoon every Sunday, except over Christmas and New Year. Remember this Market is under cover.

Traders wishing to be part of the market are phone or email as below and book their stall before Friday to book a site for the following Sunday.

Each site measures approx. 4m x 6m. Prebooked site cost is $25 per site. BYO trestle, clothes rack, etc. Access to market site for set-up is available from 6:30am (no earlier).

Parking for traders and the public is available on Level 1. Access is via ramp on Railway Rd (opp. apartments).

Prebooked stalls are $25.00 per site. Casual stalls are available.

Best to arrive around 6:45. Drive all the way down Railway Road and turn right and right, then you will be driving the right way up through the market. You will see Nette wearing an orange jacket and she will show you which spot she has allocated for you.
You should move your car up one level before 8:00am and you can bring it down again after 1:00pm and you must leave the area before 3:00 pm.
Bring a chair and warm socks.
